Sleepover -❀-
Even though the dark haired girl had just agreed to perform the said task, she found herself unable to breathe. Hinata couldn’t help but close off the flow of air allowing oxygen to pass through her lungs until she heard the her friend’s response. She held a content expression, but on the inside it was rather the opposite. The thought of prank calling Naruto was nerve-wrecking at best.
After perceiving that the kunoichi would help her out, Hinata’s limbs were able to relax— at least somewhat. She nodded thoroughly, making sure to keep her ears open wide in order to accurately pick up Sakura’s instructions.
“Ah, yes. Well—“ The lioness began, after listening to the suggestions. ”I suppose that could be interesting. Though I’m not sure if he would believe that it’s closed, since he’s there all the time… He probably has their hours memorized.“ She concluded, letting out a tiny sigh.
She puffed out her cheek as her lilac optics drifted to the floor in thought, seeking for any other ideas that might be buried deep in her mind. What else would peak their interests, while at the same time being something Naruto would believe to be happening? Sakura seemed to be going towards giving him news that would distress him, but in a lighthearted way so it didn’t make him worry too much.
“Ne, Sakura-chan?” He eyebrows raised in amusement, as a new thought flitted through her head. “Has Tsunade-sama ever made Naruto ever do any paperwork for her?” She inquired, blinking. “Because, I—I mean, maybe… we could pretend to be her and say that Naruto has to finish doing it for her. But…” She hesitated, twirling her index fingers around eachother. “That might wake up Tsunade-sama and make her angry for waking up in the middle of the night…”
Even though Hinata was uncertain about her idea, it might make her friend laugh, so that would be worth it. If Sakura didn’t like it, however, she would have to think of another one.
Of course, such a task that the two kunoichi agreed to perform was completely odd. She knew that it was for fun and something they were truly satisfied from, but would this be something they both may regret later on in the future? When it came to Tsunade’s blatant acrimony and irate manners, there would be no question that if she did perhaps… find out about their sly intentions, she surely wouldn’t hesitate in offering them a good talk or two.
But Sakura just couldn’t help it! The more and more Hinata continued her speech, the more excitement began to engulf the roseate’s being. Especially after the new idea her companion set forth in this conversation. Allowing her gaze to drift back toward the Hyūga, a nearly mischievous smirk would blossom along rosé folds. A quick nod of the head following suit.

”Uwaaaah–that sounds like a great idea!“
Viridian hues glisten with a shimmer of excitement, grin broadening. ”I’m sure that this will go perfectly–since we know that Naruto does paper work for Tsunade-shishou after all, we should work this out just fine together. Maybe… you could be the one to call Naruto?“ She inquired, crown canted a bit to the side, breathy chortle caressing the air around them.
The idea was a great suggestion, and it sure gave Sakura a genuine sense of glee to brim her demeanor. Though, just the thought alone of them actually accomplishing such a task was a tad… different—to say the least. Since they were maturely developed shinobi, after all, it was almost hard to believe that ninja such as themselves were attempting such childish antics. But still.. it wouldn’t hurt to give a try.
Now would it?
