||An Unforgettable Night

_{Ever since three days ago, Naruto had wondered if Sakura had gotten his trifling, cheesy letter about how much he missed her. Every letter and detail about the simple piece of paper seemed dumber and dumber the more he thought about it. That was, until he received a letter smelling just like the pinkette herself. His eyes wandered about the letter, carefully scanning to see who it was from. “Haruno…Sakura…“ A deep throbbing palpitation began to erupt within his chest. Could this be the response to my dumb letter that I’ve been waiting for…it came here so fast… “Here, goes…” He allowed, just for this one time to read thoroughly and intuitively, rather than scanning as he usually did. To his surprise, every dumb thing about his letter seemed to have been overlooked and with it, a line of acceptance.}

_{“Yata!  She said yes! N-now…shittebayo…“ I need to come up with a date idea. “Twins!!” Naruto yelled leaping from out of his window and onto the streets.}

_{[— The next day — ]}

_{Naruto donned a rather different outfit than his usual tracksuit. He decided to wear a black, spiral t-shirt with an unbuttoned, orange collared t-shirt. With an idea as romantic as this, he had to dress up for this one. His only worry was how Sakura would take such a drastic move. “Now all I gotta do is wait for Sakura-chan to knock on my door.“ To his right was a picnic basket filled with two bento’s and enough riceballs to last the entire night. This was going to be a very different and unforgettable date. That’s for sure, dattebayo.}

   ^{As the inevitable thoughts of Naruto continued to circulate within the roseate’s mind, a fond smile would be the first thing to take place along her pale features. Ever since the corny; yet affectionate letter she was offered yesterday, Sakura couldn’t help but to simply be overjoyed. Granted, there actually were quite a few times they went on dates, most that even consisted of the usual consumption of ramen at Ichiraku. But this one had ought to [ or at least seemed to ] be one of the most important ones yet. After all, he did come all his way just to send a letter about such an important event. So it had to be more overriding than the others, right? "Hmm hmm hm.. ♫♪♫.” She hummed a somewhat melodic tune as she sauntered her way down the vacant streets, clearly being lost in her own train of thought and happiness beginning to then take its course.}

         ^{"–Uwahh this is going to be great! I just know it.“}

   ^{With minutes seeming like only a few moments, it was only a matter of time until she finally found herself to become set in front of Naruto’s apartment establishment. Motioning her incarnadine crown toward the surface of his door, dactyls would ball into a taut fist with a couple knocks to therefore resound. This wasn’t anything particularly new that started between the pair, truly. But it sure caused a faint scarlet hue to grace her cheek-bones. And that smile of hers never seemed to deter either. She was only hoping that her excitement wasn’t that visible.}
