   ^{A melody of breathy chuckles would caress the air, faint; subtle traces of scarlet gracing the two lovers cheek-bones once moments passed. Moments.. that seemed like only a few mere seconds. Or at least, in their eyes it did. As lovers, there were many memorable memories they kept dear to one another. Hugging, sharing laughs and shooting each other these smiles that could awestruck any person who caught glimpse of such a beautiful sight. Though, who ever said that kissing came in play? Truly, after all they’ve been through together–most would find it a tad odd that they never offered each other such an affection before. Even Sakura herself found it to be quite peculiar. Most of the times when she attempted to do so, it would unfortunately end up as entirely awkward or the affection would be ceased. Simply because of her timid and coy tendencies that she just couldn’t seem to come apart with.}

  ^{A low sigh of disappointment was to thus exit her lips, causing her crown to descend a bit to face the solid pavement below. Just how on earth was it so hard to have one simple kiss that wouldn’t turn out so…. awkwardly? It was only until then when a soft tone of voice woke herself from her reverie, feeling calloused dactyl gently trace their way over a delicate jaw-line. “Is everything okay?” Inquired the dark-haired male, brows furrowed in concern. “A-ah.. it’s nothing, nothing at all.” Naturally with her melancholy, this bought a reassuring; nearly false simper upon her lips. Eyes making a quick flicker to meet those of vibrant azure. “What would make you think that?”}

  ^{With Menma, knowing full well that she wasn’t on good terms couldn’t help but to offer a slight shake of the head. Sighing heavily with the simple rise and fall of his bare chest. “You know, you could tell me anything. That’s what I’m here for after all, ne?” He was right, that’s what he is here for. To make sure she was happy and to make sure she never has even the slightest of frowns upon her face. But alas, when it came to situations as this she couldn’t help but to do so, even if he was there to accompany her during such a time. "Well.. it’s just..“ Pausing a moment, jaded pools drifting elsewhere. "Whenever we attempt to… kiss.. it just.. never works out quite well, really. Y–y'know? Usually everything ends up awkward or… I just ruin it.”}

   ^{The sudden thought she spoke of surprised Menma. Though, he couldn’t deny that he was a bit amused from it as well. So that was the reason why she’s been so sad these past few days? Why she hasn’t been able to even look at him in the eye without displaying a frown? “Sakura..” A mere whisper accompanied with yet again; another shake of the head, the sincerest of smiles managing to charm his lips. “All you had to do was tell me, it shouldn’t be anything to keep to yourself. Especially to put yourself down upon.” Digits swept across smooth flesh, slowly brushing pink locks from her visage before arms coiled around a svelte torso. She opened her mouth to protest, though, suddenly gasped when she felt plush tiers gently come in twine with her own. How relaxing such comfort a kiss could become. Hell, just the simple sensation alone was pure bliss. A small breath of approbation left her briefly, features inching closer to come more in depth with the soft kiss. “Mmh..” With an even brighter hue dusting the apples of her cheeks, eyelids would then shut close, relishing in such a loving sentiment she felt circulating through her core – only hoping that Menma was feeling the same way she is at this very moment.}
